Revanesse® Versa™ and Restylane® Dermal Fillers
Revanesse® Versa™ is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is designed to enhance your facial features for a rejuvenated and natural-looking appearance. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally produced by your body, making it well-tolerated and gradually absorbed over time.
FDA-approved for aesthetic use, Revanesse® Versa™ utilizes high-quality ingredients to ensure a safe and satisfying experience with minimal potential side effects. It is specially formulated to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, sun damage, and volume loss in various areas of the face, including the forehead, between the eyes, nasolabial folds, lips, cheeks, smile lines, chin, and jawline. It can effectively smooth mild to severe wrinkles and restore or add volume to create a youthful-looking definition to your facial features.
To determine if you are a good candidate for Revanesse® Versa™ injections, your dermatologist will examine your skin and review your medical history. It is generally approved for individuals above the age of 21, but may not be recommended if you have allergies to any of its ingredients, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of keloids or hypertrophic scarring, have scars or open wounds at the proposed treatment site, have inflammatory skin conditions, or have a history of bleeding or clotting disorders. Your dermatologist will also advise against using Revanesse® Versa™ on the same day or too close to other cosmetic treatments like laser resurfacing, IPL photo rejuvenation, or chemical peels.
During a treatment appointment, your dermatologist may apply a topical numbing agent to minimize discomfort before injecting Revanesse® Versa™ into the deep dermal layer of your skin. The injections typically take up to 30 minutes, depending on the targeted area, and you can resume your daily activities immediately after leaving your provider's office.
Some potential side effects of Revanesse® Versa™ injections may include bruising, swelling, itching, and redness, which typically subside within a few days. Avoiding touching your face can help minimize side effects, but not everyone may experience them. If you have any concerns about side effects, it's important to contact your dermatologist.
You can expect to see initial results almost immediately after your injections, with full results typically appearing within three to four weeks. Revanesse® Versa™ provides natural-looking results that last approximately six to eight months, making it a convenient option as maintenance injections are typically needed only once a year to maintain the desired outcome.
